marché aux puces vanves flea market paris

this morning's flea market adventures... came home for a lunch & blog break & will be heading out again... it's chilly out! this is the flea market i've been dreaming about since i first blogged about it last month...

vanves flea market avenue marc sangnier & avenue georges lafenestre.
métro : ligne 13, porte de vanves
sat - mon 730am to 600pm

tons of real antiques... it's not cheap... some vendors had outrageous prices... like 400 euros for a crappy damaged painting... lots of vendors with fair prices though!!!

lovely flea market dog, modeling a necklace

love this umbrella stand... didn't ask the price, didn't want to even be tempted to bring it on the plane. it's $15/extra kilo of luggage...

weird wooden faces, and these tiny fiberglass chairs...

vintage and antique buttons... miya discovered some amazing grey czech glass ones with gold anchors... huge price range... really fair prices... i bought a few huge bags of big vintage buttons for the wool coats i'm making... some look like candy. he had deadstock hairclips and brooches as well!

the doll guy! there was a doll that had a giant blinking eyeball instead of a head... almost bought it.

old flour bags... drool.

turquoise bird cage

i bought that miniature credenza thing...
